We had a new door installed 10 weeks ago from you folks. It started making a popping sound right as it caught at the top end of bringing the door up. Anthony Morales was able to isolate the pop, knew what to do so he could fix it, and did so very quickly and with a full explanation. I simply couldn’t have asked for more. We love the door! It’s quiet, it’s insulated, and now with his precision of doing this correctly, it’ll be ready to last years and years. Thank you!

Not at all happy with the service or price of what they had to offer. First, Jason (repairman) looked at the Wayne Dalton tube (spring is in the tube) and said Wayne Dalton doesn’t make that anymore and preceded to show me what they could offer. The standard spring set up was going to be over $1500. The next offering was a heavy duty set up that was just under $1900. The more we talked about the situation, he said in most cases the door probably wouldn’t go up because the motor was older model. He then preceded to quote me another $900 for the motor. I told it was too expensive, then told me the service call would $120.00 plus tax. When I made the appointment over the phone, the woman said they were running a special, that Precision Door was waiving the service fee. She didn’t say, if I had the work done then the service would be waived. I paid Jason and then called North Idaho Garage Door. Alex came out looked at my situation, he said Wayne Dalton did make the spring in the tube, but he’d have to order, but could retro fit my spring including the service fee for $700. A savings of $800. When I asked about the motor, Alex said if it ain’t broke no need to fix it, the motor was working fine. Very happy with North Idaho Garage Door, their service and would recommend them to anyone who looking for garage door service. Thank you, Rick Burleson

I am not happy with Precision Door at all.. Called to schedule 29.95 tune up and was told on phone they were also waiving the service call fee.. Technician who came said no.. one or the other… No one was willing to make this right with us.. left a bad taste to start out ..then I find out at end that there is 15.00 gas charge that no one told me about.. The phone number I called was local.. The technician waived the gas fee after I protested .. but this further deteriorated my experience.. I would like precision doors to honor the original bid if 29.95 for tune up.. This is poor customer service and it would be the right thing to honor the agreement…

Tim came out to help me figure out how to replace my door and my motor. Tim is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and did a great job giving me three options to look at. He did the right amount of discovery to figure out what was important to me, so that we got three bids to give us a good idea, and gauge of how to do this.
