  5. Make sure you have a way to keep your home gym cool and comfortable. Airflow is important in your home gym to prevent overheating. If your garage doesn't have air conditioning, it might be worth buying a portable AC unit or an oscillating fan. You'll be happy you did when you can workout harder and longer because you don't need to stop from overheating and needing fresh air.
