What is a Precision Garage Door Service Certified Technician?

Overview

At Precision Garage Door Service of Spokane all of our technicians are certified according to the standards set by IDEA (Institute of Door Dealer Accreditation and Certification). That means every hired employee must complete and pass extensive classroom training plus additional on the road training with a certified technician before they can work in your home by themselves. That is why our certified technicians are capable of repairing any garage door operating system available in the market place.

Requirements

Aside from proper garage door service training, all certified technicians must:

1. Complete a full physical
2. Pass initial and continual random drug tests
3. Have a completely clean record (including a background, driving and credit check)
4. Pass a psychological assessment

Training

We take these measures to make sure that our employees are experienced and sufficiently trained and we can stand by our word when we say that our employees are truly certified technicians. Our technicians are trained by the best in the business at our state-of-the-art certification facility in Titusville, Florida and Seattle, Washington. This extensive training course, unlike any other in the United States, ensures our certified technicians are qualified to repair any garage door system. Continued education and training keeps them current on industry trends and technology.
